1、What Personal Information do We Collect
In order to provide our services to you, we will require you to provide the necessary personal information for such services. If you do not provide personal information, we cannot provide you with corresponding products or services.
Registration account information: When you register our account, we collect your account name and contact information, including your email address, phone number, username, and login credentials. During your interaction with our product, we will further collect nickname, country code, language preference, or time zone information from your account.
When you choose to authorize the use of a third-party account to log in, we will obtain your shared account information (default system avatar, nickname, region information) from the third party and bind it with your comfyer account for quick login. We will use your personal information in accordance with the agreement with the third party and the privacy policy related to sharing personal information published by the third party, subject to compliance with relevant regulations.
Non registered account information: When you are still in the stage of learning about our products, you can try free registration/login, which means logging out or not creating an account ("free login" or "guest" mode). You can still use the created guest ID to access many comfyer products or services, such as searching or browsing features on the comfyer application.When you use login free or guest mode, we will not collect your account and related information. The information collected is limited to the permission information of your authorized additional functions, device and usage information, including the operating system of your phone.When you use the location service feature in the product and/or service, we will obtain location information based on your authorization. When you choose to exit the login free/tourist mode, all information generated by your identity as a tourist will be immediately and permanently deleted by us.
But if the services you use or purchase are based on your account information, please go to the registration/login page to register or log in.
User feedback: When you use our services and submit feedback and suggestions related to the service, we will collect the email address, phone number, and feedback content (added pictures or videos) you fill in, as well as the problem log you submit. Additional services based on location information:
When you authorize the location function of your mobile device through the system and use location-based services, we will collect and use your location information (rough location information, latitude and longitude) for you to use the comfyer application to connect with smart devices. And when you use our specific products or services (weather services/home management), based on your consent, we will collect real-time accurate or non accurate geolocation information about you. When you use the geofencing function and create a scene to generate location changes, we will apply for backend location collection permission to locate the user's location and complete the automation capability of user pre screening. You can turn off location services in the system of your mobile device to stop our collection of your location information. Adding device functionality requires obtaining location permission (only available on Android system). To add a device, Bluetooth scanning is required based on the function of searching for nearby devices.

Additional services based on cameras/camcorders:
You can use this feature to scan codes to add the device you purchased after enabling camera/camcorder permissions. Please be aware that even if you have agreed to enable camera/camcorder permissions, we will only obtain information when you actively scan the code or use the camera/camcorder for shooting. The scanning function will collect information from the light sensor and determine whether the flash function needs to be displayed based on the data from the light sensor.

You understand and agree that the above additional services require you to enable access to your location information (geographic location), camera (camera), photo album (image library), microphone (voice), internal and external storage, "floating window", Bluetooth, Homekit, Healthkit, Face ID, listener service, and fingerprint on your device to collect and use the information involved in these permissions. Mobile device information: When you interact with our products, in order to ensure your normal use of our services, maintain the normal operation of our services, improve and optimize our service experience, and ensure the security of your account, we will automatically collect mobile device information, including mobile device model, login IP address, wireless connection information, operating system type and version, application version number, push notification identifier, log files, and mobile network information. At the same time, we will collect your software version number. When you use a smart device, we collect information inherent to the smart device itself as well as information generated during your use of the smart device.
Basic information of smart devices: When you use a smart device connected to our products or services, we collect basic information about the smart device, including its name, device ID, online status, activation time, firmware version, and upgrade information.
Information collected during the process of connecting smart devices: When using comfyer APP and services, in order to facilitate device identification/activation/control, data statistics and analysis, and ensure the security and quality of network access and service operation, we will receive and record the relevant information of the smart device you need to connect to based on your specific operations when using the product. We will collect the following information:
Smart devices connected via Wi Fi: Wi Fi information (SSID, BSSID, Wi Fi Mac address, Wi Fi password), device Mac address, device ID.
Smart devices that establish a local connection via Bluetooth and connect via Wi Fi: Wi Fi information (SSID, BSSID, Wi Fi password), device Mac address, device Bluetooth Mac address.
Smart devices connected via Bluetooth: device Bluetooth Mac address, device ID.
Smart devices connected through Zig-bee: the Mac address and device ID of the smart device.
Information reported by smart devices: Based on the different smart devices you choose to connect with our products or services, we will collect the information reported by your smart devices. In order to help you better understand the use of our services, the following smart devices are used as examples, and the information reported is only applicable when you use that type of service:
For example, when you voluntarily use an intelligent camera (IPC service) and connect to the comfyer platform: You have connected a doorbell, door lock, and smart surveillance camera with a camera through the comfyer service to monitor the safety of your residence or view related monitoring content. When you add a device and use the smart camera, if the device recognizes that someone or an object is moving, the smart camera will capture the monitoring image (in image format) for you to view. The smart camera will capture surveillance footage (in image format) for you to view, and the information will be automatically uploaded to the cloud for you to save. However, we will not use this image for any additional purposes and will automatically delete this information after the retention period. When you actively choose and successfully purchase cloud storage value-added services, the smart camera will upload your captured videos to the cloud for storage, so that you can replay and view them on the application. We will retain your video information based on the cloud storage service you purchased and will not use it for other purposes. When you choose to delete images in advance in the comfyer application, you can delete them in the message center. If you need to delete a video and execute the command on the application, the cloud will respond to the deletion command and immediately delete the video you have chosen to delete. Please note that when you choose to turn off the motion detection function, the smart camera will not actively record the captured images, which will affect your intention to use the smart camera.
For example, when you voluntarily use a certain health smart device and connect to the comfyer platform: If you choose one or more smart devices, the corresponding information will be recorded:
We implement the following functional scenarios through widget components. When not logged in, no business functions will be executed. When the user manually triggers the relevant operation in the logged in state, the corresponding business function will be executed. The use of widgets to wake up the application process by broadcasting through the system at a certain frequency is necessary for achieving functionality and business.
When you create a smart scene and trigger the execution conditions in the smart scene;
When you control smart devices through an app;
When you perform voice control through a voice assistant.
The purpose of processing your information is as follows:
To provide you with services: We process your account information, mobile device information, usage information, location information, and smart device related information to provide the products and services you request. The legal basis for such processing is to fulfill our contract with you in accordance with our User Agreement.
Improving our services: We process your mobile device information, usage information, location information, and smart device related information to ensure the functionality and security of our products, develop and improve our products and services, analyze our operational efficiency, and prevent and track fraudulent or improper use behavior. The legal basis for such processing is to fulfill our contract with you in accordance with our User Agreement.
Non marketing communication: We process your personal information for the purpose of sending you important information related to changes in services, terms/conditions and policies, and/or other management information. At the same time, we will also send you notifications related to your purchased services, including alert services. When you choose to turn off push notifications, we will no longer push such information to you. Functional Experience Upgrade Plan: In order to enable you to better enjoy the convenience brought by smart devices, we will analyze your use of comfyer services or smart devices, analyze products or usage scenarios related to you in order to better enjoy the convenience brought by our products. We will use the information of your already bound smart devices to recommend other smart devices that can intelligently link with your already bound devices (Smart Device Recommendation Service). If you do not agree to our analysis of your data, you can go to the privacy settings of the comfyer App (【My】 - 【Settings】 - 【Privacy Permission Settings】 - 【Feature Experience Upgrade Plan】) to turn off your selection. The legal basis for such processing is based on your consent.
Personalized recommendation service: We will process your account information, usage information, mobile device information, and provide customized services based on the type of device used (including recommending and displaying product information and advertisements that are suitable for you), as well as inviting you to participate in user surveys of the products you use.This type of information is necessary for personalized recommendations to you. If you refuse to provide it, we will not be able to recommend personalized information or services to you, display recommended purchasing services, or send targeted push messages.At present, comfyer does not make automated decisions regarding your personal information processing, but only provides scenario based recommendation services based on your smart device type. If you do not agree to comfyer processing your personal information for personalized services, you can turn off your selection when entering the comfyer application or in the privacy settings (【My】 - 【Settings】 - 【Privacy Permission Settings】 - 【Personalized Recommendation Services】) in the application. The legal basis for such processing is based on your consent. Please note that the basic scenario recommendation function is only based on the available scenario services provided by your distribution network equipment (including device automation and convenient execution), and is not personalized recommendation services.
Compliance: We only process your personal information when required by law to disclose information, or when we deem it necessary or appropriate:

(b)Fulfill our terms of use and other agreements, policies, or standards, including investigating any potential violations of usage;
